SEAC – The Student Session in Electroanalysis (Pittcon 2023)

For Pittcon 2023 and for the ninth year running, SEAC will host another special session dedicated entirely to oral presentations by student and postdoctoral researchers.  Stephen Maldonado and Martin Edwards will organize “SEAC – The Student Session in Electroanalysis,” a feature event at Pittcon that highlights new faces in electrochemistry.  There are two objectives for this session:

  1. This session will showcase young and emerging talent in the field of electrochemistry.
  2. This session will be an opportunity to network with each other and the greater electrochemical community represented by SEAC.

Applicants of any gender, sexual preference, race religion, and nationality are all encouraged to apply. Both fundamental and applied topics in electroanalytical chemistry will be featured in this session.  This session welcomes applicants from the widest pool possible including academia, national labs, and industry.

At this time, we are asking the membership of SEAC to forward this solicitation to any and all interested graduate students and postdoctoral researchers.  Please note the relatively compact timeframe: abstracts must be submitted to (click button below) below by June 28! This timeline will enable the organizers of this session to process abstracts, select speakers, and forward that information to the Pittcon organizers in time.  Selected speakers will have the ability to refine and update their abstract before the conference program is finalized.
