Biographical Info |
I am currently a fifth year graduate student at the University of Florida. In Dr. Charles R. Martin’s research lab, we are currently investigating the transport properties of ionic solutions through nanopores to better understand the permselectivity and transport properties of membrane-based separations systems. Our research has applications in water purification, sensors, industrial electrolysis, fuel cells, biology, and more. While being the lab manager, safety officer, and hazardous waste manager, I also mentor two undergraduate students. I am also an active leader in our department at UF and in our DOE EFRC center as a part of the student research council organizing student activities and meetings. My anticipated graduation is August 2022, and I am currently #OpentoWork!
