Dr. Alan Bard

Dr. Allen J. Bard, notable figure in electroanalytical chemistry, retires from the Department of Chemistry at The University of Texas at Austin.  An article, which is very enjoyable to read, has been published by the University of Texas.

Dr. Bard holds a special place in SEAC.  In 1984, he was the first recipient of the Charles N. Reilley Award.  That same year, he then served as a member of the SEAC Board of Directors.  Browsing through SEACommunications Archives, you will find many mentions of Dr. Bard.  SEAC wishes him well!
