Pittcon 2022 Student Session

For Pittcon 2022 and for the eighth year running, SEAC will host another special session dedicated entirely to oral presentations by student and postdoctoral researchers. Stephen Maldonado and Martin Edwards will organize “SEAC – The Student Session in Electroanalysis,” a feature event at Pittcon that highlights new faces in electrochemistry. The spirit of this session is to showcase young and emerging talent in the field of electrochemistry and to facilitate networking with each other and the greater electrochemical community represented by SEAC. Applicants of any gender, sexual preference, race religion, and nationality are all encouraged to apply. Both fundamental and applied topics in electroanalytical chemistry will be featured in this session. This session welcomes applicants from the widest pool possible including academia, national labs, and industry.

At this time, we are asking the membership of SEAC to forward this solicitation to any and all interested graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. Please note the relatively compact timeframe: abstracts must be submitted to us at the link below by July 30! This short timeline will enable the organizers of this session to process abstracts, select speakers, and forward that information to the Pittcon organizers in time. Selected speakers will have the ability to refine and update their abstract before the conference program is finalized.
